there's a thought,
a thought that haunts me
so late at night

it claws at the surface
taunting me without shame
I see you fall,
drown,
drowning in your blood
while I stand there,
hands tainted crimson

I close my eyes,
tears sliding down my cheeks
and I feel your decaying hands cup my face
I can smell the iron of your blood,
curse myself for what it does to me,
open my eyes
and see your smiling face

you're whole
the completely unharmed,
wonderful,
annoying,
talkative,
attractive sonuvabitch I love
you ask if I'm 'all right'
but I don't know,
I don't know how to tell you

I dream of you,
ending you
and I can't stand the thought
of doing such a horrible thing
